 Trigger Point

Trigger Point, a small contraction knot in a muscle, is a therapeutic treatment used for the relief of pain and dysfunction originating in the muscles and connective tissue. This technique directly stretches the knotted muscle fibers in order to relieve those pain symptoms.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release applies gentle, sustained pressure to an area that feels stiff and fixed instead of elastic and movable.  Focused manual pressure and stretching help to loosen restricted movement, leading to reduced pain and improved motion.

Sports Massage

Sports massage is a fast-paced, vigorous technique that targets muscle-tendon junctions.  It is geared toward athletes of every kind, reducing fatigue, improving endurance, helping to prevent injuries, and assists towards preparing the body and mind for optimal performance.

Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage involves many massage techniques coupled with deep breathing to activate the relaxation response in the muscles.  The pace is generally slow, using lighter pressure with long gliding strokes, helping to encourage the mind and body to relax.

 Swedish massage is recognized as the most common and best-known type of massage in the Western world. This method can be slow and gentle or vigorous, incorporating various techniques to improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and improve well-being

Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual Lymph Drainage is a type of gentle massage performed for the reduction of swelling that uses a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic movements to stimulate and redirect lymph flow which carries waste products away from the tissues.
