What if my child has a health problem that does not respond to chiropractic care?

Doctors of chiropractic are well-schooled in recognizing complex health problems, and their main obligation is the welfare of the child. When the doctor of chiropractic or any doctor reaches the limits of their skill and authority, they are bound morally and ethically to refer patients to practitioners in other fields of healing when necessary in order to provide the highest quality of patient care. You, as a parent or guardian, must take responsibility for your child’s health and exercise the best judgment as to what is most appropriate for your child.
